{"id":1990,"date":"2020-11-16T09:09:56","date_gmt":"2020-11-16T09:09:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hydrogenh2.cymru\/?p=1990"},"modified":"2022-02-19T15:23:27","modified_gmt":"2022-02-19T15:23:27","slug":"swanseas-hydrogen-from-medical-waste","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hydrogenh2.cymru\/cy\/swanseas-hydrogen-from-medical-waste\/","title":{"rendered":"Hydrogen Abertawe o wastraff meddygol"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>Cyhoeddwyd post hwn cyntaf gan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2020-11\/su-sct111220.php\">EurekaAlert<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gellid defnyddio golau haul i drosi gwastraff meddygol peryglus yn danwydd hydrogen gl\u00e2n, gan ddefnyddio techneg newydd sy\u2019n cael ei datblygu gan d\u00eem ar y cyd rhwng Cymru \/ India dan arweiniad ymchwilwyr Prifysgol Abertawe.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r prosiect newydd ddyfarnu \u00a3 47,000 o gyllid gan Lywodraeth Cymru.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r GIG eisoes yn gwario \u00a3 700 miliwn y flwyddyn yn cael gwared ar wastraff meddygol. Mae pandemig COVID yn creu llawer iawn o wastraff ychwanegol, fel masgiau ac offer amddiffynnol arall.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r t\u00eem dan arweiniad Abertawe yn datblygu proses newydd o\u2019r enw ffotoreforming. Mae hyn yn defnyddio golau haul i ladd firysau ar yr un pryd a throsi gwastraff na ellir ei ailgylchu yn danwydd hydrogen gl\u00e2n. Mae\u2019r broses yn gweithio trwy ddefnyddio lled-ddargludyddion nanostrwythuredig i yrru dirywiad gwastraff a phathogenau gyda golau haul.<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"width: 640px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-1990-1\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/media.eurekalert.org\/multimedia_prod\/pub\/media\/248652_web.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/media.eurekalert.org\/multimedia_prod\/pub\/media\/248652_web.mp4\">https:\/\/media.eurekalert.org\/multimedia_prod\/pub\/media\/248652_web.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Ar hyn o bryd, mae gwastraff meddygol yn cael ei waredu trwy losgi. Mewn cyferbyniad, nid yw ffotoreformio yn cynhyrchu nwyon t\u0177 gwydr ac yn gweithio ar dymheredd amgylchynol. Yn ogystal \u00e2 chynhyrchu tanwydd hydrogen, gall y broses hefyd gynhyrchu stociau porthiant organig i\u2019r diwydiant cemegol.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r ymchwil newydd hon yn adeiladu ar waith blaenorol y t\u00eem ar gynhyrchu hydrogen o blastigau gwastraff.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r t\u00eem yn cynnwys arbenigwyr epidemioleg o Sefydliad Meddygaeth ac Ymchwil Ataliol India\u2019s King a Phrifysgol Thiruvalluvar. Maent yn helpu i archwilio gweithgaredd gwrthfeirysol \u2018ffotocatalysts\u2019 yn erbyn gwahanol bathogenau, gan gynnwys SARS-CoV-2, y firws sy\u2019n achosi COVID-19. Mae\u2019r gr\u0175p nanoddefnyddiau yn Sefydliad Technoleg Indiaidd Mandi hefyd yn bartneriaid yn y prosiect. Mae\u2019r ymchwilwyr bellach wrthi\u2019n chwilio am bartneriaid diwydiant i fasnacheiddio eu technoleg.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sg-block-quote\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #b40505;\">Dywed Dr Moritz Kuehnel, arweinydd prosiect ac uwch ddarlithydd Cemeg ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cErs dechrau\u2019r pandemig COVID-19, rydym wedi gweld ymchwydd byd-eang mewn gwastraff meddygol un defnydd a PPE yn llygru\u2019r amgylchedd fel masgiau wyneb tafladwy traethau taflu sbwriel. Mae\u2019r GIG eisoes yn gwario mwy na \u00a3 700m bob blwyddyn ar waredu gwastraff, hyd yn oed cyn gwastraff COVID.
