Hydrogen – behind the hype.  HyCymru joins forces with RenewableUK Cymru and Arup to discuss hydrogen in Wales at the next session of the Virtual Energy Network on Thursday 25 February at 11am.

To what extent will the universe’s most abundant element star in Wales’ future energy system?  With Governments in Cardiff and Westminster increasingly keen to unlock Hydrogen’s potential as part of their decarbonisation pathways, we ask what are the opportunities and practical challenges?

The session will be hosted by Rhys Jones from RenewableUK Cymru and David Brown from Arup.  Speakers will include:

  • Guto Owen – Director of Ynni Glan and founder of HyCymru, the Welsh Hydrogen Trade Association
  • Jon Maddy – Director of the University of South Wales’ Hydrogen Centre
  • Beccie Drake – Specialist energy and infrastructure engineer at Arup
  • Ray Arrell – Head of Technical Development at Regen

If you’d like to join the session, just drop us an email at cymru@renewableuk.comand we’ll send you the joining instructions.
